Welcome to Vermont Scrapbook Retreats! My name is Blanca Jenne and I've been doing scrapbook retreats since 2008! 

My very first all weekend crop I did was actually in 2004. It was a full weekend retreat that took place at the American Legion in Middlebury, VT. That same year, I opened a small scrapbook store in a building behind my home in Conrwall, VT. It was a mere 900 square feet!

After getting my shop on it's feet and then moving it two East Middlebury, VT in 2007 to a space twice it's original size, I thought it was time to give Scrapbook Retreats another try. So in 2008 I had my first full weekend retreat at the Ramada Inn in Glens Falls, NY! Everyone had such a great time, I never realized back then that my participants would stick around for many years to come!

The recession really hurt our Scrapbook store and in 2010 we began shrinking the scrapbook store and turning our shop in to a candy store. By 2011 we were the largest candy store in Vermont and phased out most of our scrapbook supplies we sold. But the retreats continued as I had a great following in the fall!

All our fall retreats have been at the Ramada Inn in Glens Falls until 2015. We've done Spring Retreats in Rutland & Middlebury. Rutland was at the Holiday Inn and in the beginning the Middlebury one took place at the American Legion. Then a couple of years ago we began to do the spring retreat at the Courtyard By Marriot in Middlebury, VT. 

We've enjoyed  it there so much we've decided to move the Fall retreat there in 2016! My candy shop has become very successful, so the only way I could continue to do these retreats was to keep it local. I am very excited about this change! 2016 will be my 9th year! I am confident that we will be around for many years to come!
