Want More Fonts For Digital Images Or Scrapbook Pages??!!

So I just discovered an awesome way to get a ton of fonts to use for my digital pages! I have searched for fonts in the past but have run across issues with the sites containing spam or viruses! So no can do to download from them!

Well my daughter uses Google Docs and she was showing me all the great fonts that she can use on Google Docs. So I decided to search Google Fonts and found the Google site where you can download 100's of fonts. Over 800 to be exact!! And they have a lot that would work awesome with digital scrapbooking or making digital images to put on your traditional scrapbook pages!

So where do you get all these fantastic, wonderful, fun and creative fonts you ask? Well I'm gonna tell you, just because I like you. ;)

Go to: https://fonts.google.com/

Here's how to do it:

1) Hit the plus sign next to each font you want to downlaod.

2) A black bar will pop up on the bottom of the screen telling you the number of fonts you have selected. It says "1 Family Selected" for example. A "Family" represents a font. Once you have chosen all the fonts you want to download, click on the dash within the bar to the right of "Family Selected" A menu will appear. Simply click the downward arrow in the upper right hand corner to begin the download.

3) Choose to install "Sky Fonts" to help manage your fonts. I did this and it was much easier to install my fonts. You would then use that to access downloading fonts. It installs them on your computer and automatically in the correct Windows file so you don't have to do the work!

4) Once you install Sky Fonts just click on the icon on your desktop to open it up. Choose the settings icon (looks like a flower) in the upper right hand corner and choose "Accounts" Then click on "Browse Google Fonts" and a new screen will open up in your browser. Simply click on "Add" next to each font you want to downlaod. That is all there is to it and now you have a ton of new fonts!
